The number of families in the USA needing assistance from food pantries continues to increase every year. The lack of access to menstrual health products for people who are either homeless or low-income is appalling. These necessary products are not covered by SNAP or any other welfare program. Each month, this leaves countless people without the products many of us take for granted.
During the month of June, please help to support Dunedin Cares’ “Girl Power” feminine care product drive by donating maxi pads, mini pads, panty liners and tampons. Or make a monetary donation to Dunedin Cares (cash, check or online) and identify your donation is in support of our “Girl Power” drive. With your help, we can help so many who cannot afford these necessary products.

“What is the connection between anxiety and anger? Why am I so irritable? I don’t want to be so angry, but I can’t help myself. What can I do to have better control of my emotions while facing stressful situations?”
We will explore the answers to these questions and many others that deal with emotional regulation and our ability to express ourselves appropriately when we feel like our emotions are getting the best of us.
Come, relax, and enjoy refreshments and a stress-free night. We will also be talking about our upcoming mental health conference to be held at OLL in September, entitled: Help, Hope and Healing: Mental Health Conference 2022.”
Facilitators: Dolores Mortimer, LMHC, RPT/S, NCC, and Winnie Holland, LMHC

Please join us in the Scottish Cultural Center for a fun time featuring the headline band for the Ukraine Benefit, North of Argyll. No Kilts Necessary – this is NOT a dress rehearsal.
With members of the band coming in from out of town, they will be putting their set together for the big day and playing some new and old tunes. This rehearsal is for the band, and it will be a relaxed and fun night.
We are making it a free event and would love to see a full house of our members and friend.
The doors will open at 6:30.
Refreshments will be available for sale, and we will have some fun along the way.
Come and have a fun Friday Night.
