Biography
David Bramley’s first career was in restaurant management. He worked for Chart House, Houlihan’s, and Olive Garden, managing the largest chain restaurant operations in the United States.
David subsequently worked for Farmers Insurance, managing call centers in Plantation, FL, and establishing a new center in St. Georges, Grenada. David won the company’s highest award, the Excellence Award.
Relocating to Dunedin, David was a Director of Operations at CXIS Insurance Services in St. Petersburg.
Currently retired, David is the author of Washington’s Guns, a novel about the Revolutionary War based on an ancestors’ firsthand account of the war.
He is on the Session of First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin and serves as Treasurer. He was previously on the board of Royal Palm Christian Church in Coral Springs for 20 years. He is also a former member of the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Dunedin, where he is on the Club and the Rotary Foundation boards and serves as Treasurer.
David was born in Wabash, Indiana, and graduated from Butler University. He has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 35 years, and they have a son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren in Indianapolis.
Biography
Teddy attended Pinellas County schools and has a BA from USF. Living in north Pinellas County for 50 years, she has participated in many community endeavors. Currently serving on the Dunedin Branch Council of the Taoist Tai Chi Society, she enjoys the many facets of teaching and learning that it provides. Past volunteer activities include Elder at First Presbyterian of Dunedin, Board Member Directions for Mental Health, Selection Committee Chair-Leadership Pinellas, and 20-year Windlass member. Professionally, Teddy maintains her Real Estate Brokers License, was a Pinellas high school substitute teacher for many years, and was an Area Manager for an International Fitness Corporation.
Teddy and her 60 lb. rescue, Dewi, enjoy Dunedin’s Achieva Paw Park most mornings at the crack of dawn.

Larry Franklin

Larry is an information technology leader with over 35 years of experience delivering world-class technology solutions and implementations to improve business operations. He and his wife, Elaine, have lived in Dunedin since 1999.
Larry has been involved with Dunedin youth sports. He has been an assistant coach for Dunedin Little League and the Dunedin Junior Falcons Football. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Dunedin Stirling Soccer Club.
Larry is a member of the Dunedin Rotary Club and served as its President from 2021 to 2022. He serves on the Grants, International, and Rotary Foundation Committees and Chairs the Triathlon, Interact, and Scholarship Committees. Larry also served as the President of the Dunedin Council of Orgranzatos for 2020.
Larry has also served on the City of Dunedin’s Committee on Aging and the American Disability Act Advisory Committee.
Larry also serves as the board president for the Advisory Board for the Academy of Architecture, Robotics, and Construction Technology (ARC) associated with Dunedin High School. He also assisted the Robotics Club students with programming robots for competitions.

Introducing Kristina Garcia, a seasoned professional with an impressive track record spanning over 25 years in leadership roles. Her journey commenced in Sales, Marketing, and Advertising, where she demonstrated remarkable prowess, propelling revenues to exceed $4.5 million per quarter and amassing numerous accolades to recognize her sales prowess. Kristina maintains an unwavering commitment to personal growth and development, consistently pursuing training opportunities to elevate her experience in marketing, sales, and
management. Her extensive managerial experience encompasses overseeing teams and call centers and collaborating with large-scale organizations.
Beyond her corporate endeavors, Kristina has devoted a quarter-century to the noble cause of nonprofit work. Her altruistic journey commenced in the Spring of Tampa Bay and has subsequently intertwined with various community-based nonprofits, including the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association, and PTAs, where she has occupied multiple leadership roles. These diverse positions have enriched her skill set and provided invaluable experience working with multifaceted groups of individuals. Her exceptional dedication during the challenging times of COVID-19 earned Kristina the prestigious Sheriff’s Community Award.
For over two and a half decades, Kristina has been a steadfast contributor to improving our schools, community, and overall quality of life. Her commitment to positively impacting society continues through her dedicated involvement with Dunedin Cares Community Food Pantry.
Biography
Phyllis Gorshe is the Library Director of the Dunedin Public Library. She has been a librarian with the City of Dunedin since 2000. She earned her M.L.S. degree at the University of South Florida – School of Library and Information Science in 1999. She has her B.A. in English Literature from Loyola University – New Orleans.
Phyllis has worked as a Law Librarian, Youth Services Librarian and Reference Librarian. She loves her current job as Director and has worked on numerous initiatives such as online resources, an award winning seed library, collaboration with local organizations and schools along with being involved in libraries and literacy at the County and State level.
Phyllis enjoys spending time with her family in our beautiful community and of course, reading!
Dena Hurst Ph.D.
Director – Past PresidentBiography
For 25 years, Dena has worked as a project manager and researcher for the Florida Institute of Government at Florida State University. She provides training and consulting in the areas of leadership, governance, process improvement, performance management, and change. She co-authored Oracle of the Obvious: Secrets of Common Sense Leadership and has contributed chapters on leadership and philosophy in several publications. She has also contributed to several philosophy and pop culture books including, Philosophy and Psych, Philosophy and Supernatural, Philosophy and Jim Henson, and The Ultimate Star Trek and Philosophy. Dena teaches applied philosophy courses for St. Petersburg College. In addition to her service in Florida, she has had opportunities to work in various parts of the Caribbean, Colombia, Australia, China, India, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Great Britain. Dena has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stetson University and a master’s degree and a doctorate in philosophy from Florida State University. She is an avid volunteer for the Taoist Tai Chi Society and a member of The Rotary Club of Dunedin.

With over 12 years of real estate experience, Stephanie Joines is a dedicated Realtor at LPT Realty. Since moving to Dunedin in 2001, she’s embraced the city’s beauty, outdoor activities, and diverse events.
Stephanie is actively involved in local and state real estate boards, serving on the Boards of Directors for Visit Dunedin, Pinellas Realtors, Florida Realtors, and DCO. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Pinellas Realtor Organization and is a committed member of the Mission and EarthCare committees at First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin.
In her personal life, Stephanie enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, walking, photography, movies, and reading. A passionate Virginia Tech football fan, she spends her free time doting on her “foster failure” dog, Scruffy.
Biography
Ann McGregor is a native Floridian with deep family ties in the Tampa Bay area since the 1950s. In 2019, she moved to Dunedin with her husband, Mark, and son, Travis, a recent college graduate. Dunedin is also home to her computer consulting company, Radiant Life Productions, which serves the web technology needs of small businesses and entrepreneurs. Ann recently retired from a second career in online education with Johns Hopkins University, where she designed, developed, and supervised online computer science courses for K-12 advanced learners.
Ann is a teacher, learner, traveler, & nature-loving earth mama with a techno-geeky twist. She has a life-long commitment to community service and has served on many nonprofit boards throughout her adult life. To nurture her passion for the environment, Ann is also a member of an eco-community in Belize, where the family has a vacation cabin.
Her ideal day would involve spending time on the beach or in the forest next to a running stream, reading a good book, and maybe using a wireless internet connection.
