  • 100 – 1000 adults with disabilities and family members and caregivers of people with disabilities are expected to participate in the survey
  • There are no costs, reimbursements, or compensations for taking part in the survey
  • The survey will take about an hour and a half to complete. You can take a break and come back to finish the survey later if you choose. There are no known personal benefits to participation, other than providing guidance to the city to improve disability accessibility and inclusion

Rotarians are dedicated to Service, and the Rotary Club of Dunedin raises $25,000 to $30,000 a year for charitable giving for the good of our local citizens in the form of Scholarships for Dunedin High School seniors and Grants to local 501(c)3 organizations. Our Grants Committee meets three times a year and typically donates $6,000 each term (3 to 6 grants).  The Scholarship Committee meets once a year to give scholarships to deserving DHS students, through the Pinellas Education Foundation.   In addition to these local donations, we also give to international projects around the world and to eradicate Polio worldwide.

The Rotary Club of Dunedin is asking you to become a sponsor, Corporate or Individual, for our Rotary Casino Night.100% of the proceeds (after expenses) will be used for charitable giving in Dunedin.

* You may also pay by check or cash. Just update the attached renewal application with any changes and mail it with a check, or bring it to the next meeting.

Haggis Celtic Concerts Present Screaming Orphans

Image result for scottish american society dunedinFebruary 7,  7:30-10 pm, the Scottish American Society of Dunedin hosts a Celtic concert featuring the Screaming Orphans from County Donegal, Ireland. The Screaming Orphans are 4 sisters raised in the magic of County Donegal, Ireland. There’s a great tradition of music found there, especially in the Gaeltacht or Irish-speaking areas which have produced Clannad, Altan and Enya. They’ve traveled Europe, America and Canada, appearing on David Letterman and many other shows and also recorded with Peter Gabriel and on Joni Mitchell’s “Magdalene Laundries” for the Chieftains “Tears of Stone” album. This will be an acoustic concert featuring traditional songs and ballads “they learned from their Mam!”

Drive the Divergent Diamond!

At our November meeting, the Florida DOT showed us several potential turning solutions to the traffic woes at the intersection of Alt US 19 and Curlew Road. Among those was the Divergent Diamond Interchange. Here is a simulator game that will allow you to drive through the different parts of a Divergent Diamond Interchange. Dunedin Faith-Base Consortium

The City of Dunedin’s Social Service Committee would like to invite you to attend the inaugural meeting of the Dunedin Faith-Base Consortium. This is an amazing opportunity to bring the missions of your organizations together, for one hour, each quarter, to learn how to help one other.

Dunedin Youth Guild 49th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, the Dunedin Youth Guild will host the 49th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes. This year’s theme is “Christmas in Our Town” and is reflected in the six Dunedin homes, the recently expanded Dunedin History Museum and the newly renovated historic Fenway Hotel that are all included in this year’s tour.  Proceeds from this event benefit the Dunedin Youth Guild’s youth scholarship program and other youth-focused community improvement projects.
