The Church of the Good Shepherd invites the entire community to an ecumenical prayer service to honor those who died while serving this country and its allies in the Armed Forces. The Dunedin Highland Middle School Pipe Band performs, and the Color Guard from the Suncoast Sea Cadets presents the flags. The service features a guest speaker and prayers for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, for those in active service, and for veterans, both living and dead. A solemn roll call is read of those on the hearts of the people attending the service. A reception follows.
