Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 11 am to 5 pm at Honeymoon Island State Park.

Six (6) hours of traditional bluegrass music from bands Amanda Cook Band, Seth Mulder & Midnight Run, and Penny Creek Band.

Get your early bird ticket now and receive $3 off admission. Ticket does not include park entrance fees: $4 for one person in vehicle, $8 for 2-8 people in vehicle. Tickets at event location North Beach Picnic area, $15. Children under 12 free.

2020 The Dunedin Rotary Honeymoon Island Triathlon – Canceled

The Dunedin Rotary Triathlon is held on Honeymoon Island which is known to be one of the most picturesque beaches in the United States.  The city of Dunedin and this lovely state park welcomes the athletes with open arms and embraces this triathlon event.  You will find beautiful beaches, a closed bike course to maximize speed, and a partially shaded, well-marked run course through the park where you’ll see a variety of plants and wildlife. This sprint triathlon course is made up of a 1/4 mile swim, 12-mile bike, and 5k run. Register early and take advantage of the discounted registration fee.

15th Annual Dunedin Rotary Triathlon

Celebrating our 15th year, the Dunedin Rotary Triathlon is one of the largest and longest running athletic events and fundraisers in Dunedin! The Triathlon will be held on May 20th, 2018 on Honeymoon Island, which is known to be one of the most picturesque beaches in the United States.  The city of Dunedin and this lovely state park welcome the athletes with open arms and embrace this triathlon event.  You will find beautiful beaches, a closed bike course to maximize speed, and a partially shaded, well-marked run course through the park where you’ll see a variety of plants and wildlife.

Dunedin Rotary is currently seeking athletes, volunteers and sponsors for this years event. For more information about the triathlon visit www.dunedintriathlon.com.

All monies raised by the triathlon go directly to the local community. The Rotary Club of Dunedin is dedicated to serving the community and the world, as evidenced by our projects in India, Croatia, and Haiti.

Bluegrass festival visitors will enjoy the event in a large outdoor site at the North end of beach from 11 am to 5 pm in beautiful Honeymoon Island State Park. The festival supports Honeymoon and Caladesi State Parks and programs that help visitors enjoy recreational benefits of a beautiful area of the State.

The festival will feature continuous traditional bluegrass music performances by Little Roy and Lizzy Show, and several local bluegrass bands. Continue reading
