Kick off Mardi Gras on February 9 with a downtown 2nd Friday Wine Walk 5:30 to 8:30 pm and the Mardi Gras Glow Ride that begins at Pioneer Park at 6:00 pm. The Mardi Gras Parade takes place at 2:00 pm on February 10, and the Fat Tuesday Pub Crawl on February 13. Click here for more information.

Now is a great time to visit the Dunedin Public Libary and join if you have not already. Movies, music, crafts, and community events are as much a part of the library as checking out books. And speaking of checking out, did you know the library has park and museum passes to lend?

Benefit For The People Of Ukraine

There’s a special event happening in our area where you can help make a difference.  On Saturday, April 30th, the City of Dunedin together with the Scottish American Society of Dunedin (where our Club holds its monthly meetings) presents “Benefit For The People of Ukraine: A Celtic Concert”.  The concert will take place at Waterfront Weaver Park on Bayshore Boulevard, Dunedin from 2:00 – 8:00 pm.  Tickets are $10 per person, available via Eventbrite or at the gate.

  • There are no costs, reimbursements, or compensations for taking part in the survey
  • The survey will take about an hour and a half to complete. You can take a break and come back to finish the survey later if you choose. There are no known personal benefits to participation, other than providing guidance to the city to improve disability accessibility and inclusion

Register Now! Hog Hustle Virtual Mile Challenge May 1-8

Dunedin Parks & Recreation presents “Hog Hustle virtual mile challenge” from May 1-8, 2021.

During your time quarantining, did you turn into a little piggy? Here’s your time to hustle into exercise! We will be doing a week long mile challenge. Accumulate as many miles throughout the week and post them online. You can complete your mileage challenge by running or walking anywhere (road, park, treadmill).

For $25, the first 500 runners will receive a dri-fit t-shirt, in addition to a piggy bank and piggy nose.

City of Dunedin Child Safety Drive Thru: March 6

The City of Dunedin is hosting a Child Safety Drive Thru and life jacket giveaway! Children will be sized and fitted for life jackets. Families will learn about safety topics and how to stay safe while in the comforts of their vehicles. Participants will receive a bag with information regarding child safety for parents and children

2019 Springtime in the Hammock – A Guided Nature Walk through the Park

Celebrate Spring and join us for a guided nature walk to explore the unique wonders and beautiful butterflies of Hammock Park with more than 90 acres of natural Florida.

Ice Cream will be provided after the walk by Friends of the Hammock.

Our nature guide experts include:
• Craig Wilson, Dunedin City Arborist
• Art Finn, Safety Harbor City Arborist
• Tim Adams, Butterfly Expert
with special guests: Jim Polgar, Butterfly Garden founder and Don Solari, Wildlife Photographer

The butterfly walk will be limited to 20 people and joining will be a first-come basis.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring insect repellent. Water will be provided.
