Screaming Orphans

The Scottish American Society of Dunedin is proud to welcome back the Screaming Orphans to kick off our 2022 series of concerts.

The Screaming Orphans, four sisters from County Donegal, Ireland, are a highly talented family and have traveled Europe, America, and Canada, appearing on David Letterman and many other shows. Their 2017 folk album Taproom charted No. 1 on the iTunes World Music Charts and in the Top 10 of Billboard’s World Album Charts. Their 2019 album Life in a Carnival charted on the top 25 of iTunes Pop Music charts in the U.S. and again on the top 10 of the Billboard World Albums Chart.

Sisters Joan,

Grainne, Angela, and Mary Therese will provide us with another amazing night of folk, pop, Celtic, and world music featuring more songs and ballads “they learned from their Mam!”
