North Pinellas Democratic Club -2022 Election Volunteer Kickoff Meeting

Democrats in Pinellas County are preparing for a massive volunteer effort for the 2022 elections. To start the process, there will be a Kickoff Event at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor (see map at the end of this message) as follows:

At this gathering, we will pass out the new election information cards with a list of Board of Education candidates for volunteers to hang on doorknobs. We’ll have coffee and doughnuts – and like-minded people! It is under an outside shelter, and there will be electric fans.
We want to make sure our voters with mail-in ballots send their ballots back by the August 16th deadline. People who vote at the polls can vote early from August 13-21 at the Supervisor of Elections offices only or on August 23rd, primary election day.
A voter who votes in the August primary is much more likely to vote in November.
We’ve invited candidates to join us between 9:30 and 10:30 am. There won’t be any candidate speeches – just an opportunity to meet one-on-one.
Volunteers will pick up their door hangers at any time during the Kickoff. There will be a short in-person training at 10:30 am.

This tutorial will show you how to use your list on your smartphone to put informational cards on doorknobs of the democratic-leaning voters in your neighborhood.
MiniVAN app Training will be available throughout the event, either one-on-one or in small groups.
You may join a group going out after the kickoff. Even a half hour of your time will make a big difference.
