2023 St. Joseph Sounds Flat Classic – Fishing Tournament
October 13 @ 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
The St. Joseph Sound Flats Classic pairs experienced captains with local business leaders, companies, sponsors, and individuals for an exciting day of catch-and-release fishing and fun while supporting the charities of the Rotary Club of Dunedin and Dunedin Boat Club.
The competition kicks off with a silent and live auction during the cocktail hour and dinner. Additional tickets are available for purchase for those guests who choose not to fish.
On Friday morning, anglers will board their flats boats captained by a professional fishing guide and set out on the St. Joseph Sound. It’s worry-free fishing for you and your friends or clients. Fishing licenses are not required, and each vessel is fully stocked with the following:
Fishing tackle and bait, Beverages and food, Tips, and instruction for new anglers, Help reel in the big one!

Cycle to Save Lives is for all types of riders, competitive and casual. This annual event is hosted as a collaborative effort of Rotarians and Clubs throughout Rotary District 6950. Come as a peloton or come as a family. Join friends on the Pinellas Trail as we raise money to eradicate Polio, and help provide critical infrastructure for vaccine distribution throughout the world. The beacon will serve as a promise that we do our part to keep the project’s message, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” alive and well.

Dunedin Triathlon October 10
The Dunedin Triathlon will be held October 10 at Honeymoon Island State Park.
The Dunedin Triathlon has been one of Florida’s most desired and favorite sprint distance triathlons since its launch in 2003. The venue, Honeymoon Island State Park, has repeatedly been named on the top beaches and travel destinations worldwide.
All proceeds go back to the local community through the Rotary Club of Dunedin! All funds raised for the event benefit the local Dunedin community to serve the needy, students, scholarships, and the homeless. Dunedin Rotary also leverages the international power of the Rotary International, the collective leadership and expertise of our 1.2 million members helps us tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges, locally and globally. Common values and vision unite us for the future as we sharpen our focus with targeted specific causes that will reach communities most in need.

Casino Night includes the following – casino games run by a professional company, music, and DJ, food (by Chef Davis), fun and libations.
Ticket sales are limited to the first 300, so please buy your tickets earlier!
Rotarians are dedicated to Service, and the Rotary Club of Dunedin raises $25,000 to $30,000 a year for charitable giving for the good of our local citizens in the form of Scholarships for Dunedin High School seniors and Grants to local 501(c)3 organizations. Our Grants Committee meets three times a year and typically donates $6,000 each term (3 to 6 grants). The Scholarship Committee meets once a year to give scholarships to deserving DHS students, through the Pinellas Education Foundation. In addition to these local donations, we also give to international projects around the world and to eradicate Polio worldwide.
