North Pinellas Advocates for Racial Equity is a new initiative that is partnering with local community advocates to address the topic of racial equity in our community. We have put together a series of virtual events for the community to hear various perspectives, tackle difficult questions and consider action steps. Our goal is to reverse the tide of racial injustice through acceptance of and respect for racial identity and cultural differences.
Panel discussions and a community movie night are being planned via Zoom. Our first event is a zoom Panel Discussion on Wed. Aug. 26 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The topic is “How to Stop Walking on Eggshells and Really Start Communicating”.
Advance Zoom registration is required so please click on this link.
How can you get involved? Please help us spread the word! We invite you to use the attached flyers to help us promote this Panel Discussion event via your social media, newsletter and word of mouth within your organizations. Please invite your Facebook friends to like our page and attend our event.
We are grateful for your support, and we look forward to seeing you at our August 26 event!
