Gary Greer’s career is a fascinating journey across creative disciplines. Inspired early on by Salvador Dalí and Norman Rockwell, Gary studied design at the Kansas City Art Institute, launching his career in industrial design and advertising. His path has included roles as a designer and illustrator in advertising and television, leading creative teams, and branching into digital art and animation. Greer even recorded two albums, pairing his music with surreal animated videos.

Currently, he is working on his first children’s book, Astronaut with the Red Umbrella, and has dedicated recent years to sculpting. His Pod Sculptures are crafted from palm tree elements, transformed into intricate, nature-inspired forms.
