Join us for Coffee & Conversation at DFAC, where art and insight blend over a great cup of coffee. Sponsored by the Sterling Society, this monthly series features a guest artist sharing their creative journey and unique perspective.
This month, we welcome Suzanne Elizabeth Murphy, artist, author, and educator. After decades of painting and portrait commissions, Suzanne revisited a story that began forty years ago—when she first faced her fear of scuba diving. That leap into the unknown inspired her recently published children’s book, Mirabelle and the Sea Green Bathtub: Journey to the Coral Reef.
Suzanne’s story is one of courage, curiosity, and trust, showing that the greatest adventures often come when we embrace the unknown. She has lived and created across the country, founded Open Sky Studio & Gallery in Tarpon Springs, and served on the Tarpon Springs Public Art Committee. She is also the featured artist in the DFAC Gallery Shop, where her unique works can be explored and purchased.
Admission: $5 | Free for DFAC members
