Welcome New Member – Academie Da Vinci Charter School

Academie Da Vinci Charter School for the Arts and Technology is a Kindergarten through 8th gradeschool located in Dunedin. They are the first charter school to be established in Pinellas County. They are part of the Pinellas County School system and follow the Pinellas County Schools curriculum. They enhance that curriculum with a program called STEAM – science, technology, engineering, arts and math. STEAM curriculum offers students the opportunity to learn new skills and information in multiple ways and to demonstrate their learning through projects and presentations.

What sets Academie Da Vinci apart from traditional public schools is their firm integration in the arts. In addition to the regular curriculum (i.e., Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, and Physical Education) students also participate in integrated arts classes each week. These classes include general music with instruments, movement, chorus, visual arts, dance, and drama.
