As Vice President, COO of the Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC), Ken Hannon oversees the education, exhibition and retail departments, and is directly responsible for DFAC’s overall public relations and marketing strategies, as well as other operating functions. He joined the team at DFAC as communications director in 2005. During his tenure, the organization has doubled in size and budget to become one of the premier art centers in the United States.
Mr. Hannon comes to Dunedin from Flint, MI where he spent 25 years operating an award winning communications firm. His clients included the C.S. Mott Foundation, Comcast Cable, Flint Institute of Art, Flint Institute of Music, General Motors, Harcourt Brace & Michigan State University. Mr. Hannon is also a working artist, having been an artist-in-residence at Hortobagyi Alkototabor in Hungary and The Union of Polish Artists/ Photographers in Kielce, Poland. He has exhibited widely and is included in many corporate and private collections.
