DCO February Breakfast Meeting is a Triple Play!!

Did you know the song “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” is a 1908 Tin Pan Alley song written by Jack Norworth and Albert Von Tilzer, although neither of its authors OO8eazkQhad attended a game prior to writing the song? Why should you care?  Because baseball, specifically Toronto Blue Jay’s baseball, is the feature at this month’s DCO breakfast. Staying in the same ballpark, our spotlight will be on the Dunedin Youth League. Speaking of ballparks, Florida Auto Exchange, sponsor of Dunedin’s own ballpark, will be sponsoring the breakfast this month. Talk about a triple play!

Immediately following the meeting we will move to the Dunedin Causeway for the dedication of a bike rack, commemorating DCO’s 50th Anniversary. The squid shaped bike rack was crafted by Bill Coleman of Arc Angels, Inc. and is a real traffic stopper. Please join us as we unveil this unique work of public art. Download a copy of this month’s agenda.

Be sure to share this announcement with friends and associates who may want to join us as guests next Friday to hear the latest news about Dunedin’s important relationship with baseball.
